Current state on Northwest Pipeline shows growing line pack with
indications of continued banking by shippers. MountainWest
Pipeline is allocating injections at Clay Basin and will be
performing its annual withdrawal testing, where injection
nominations will not be accepted, from March 26 through April 10.
Additionally, Jackson Prairie is currently scheduling at its
maximum injection rate, with limited flexibility for Northwest
balancing.
As a reminder, when the Jackson Prairie facility reaches 80%
capacity, SGS-2I interruptible storage holders (IT) will be
expected to vacate with a minimum of seven days notice. Northwest
asks IT storage shippers to remain judicious in storage planning
in the near-term future.
Northwest will continue to monitor the system status and make
adjustments as necessary to protect the integrity of the pipeline
and meet scheduled delivery requirements. Adjustments could
include the issuance of an underrun entitlement or warning.
