SUBJECT: Sumas Compressor Maintenance and Outage Delayed
As posted on the maintenance schedule and communicated in our
annual maintenance call, the Sumas Compressor Station “C” Plant
boiler replacement scheduled from 9/1/2021 through 9/30/2021
has been delayed. This is now estimated to occur from 10/1/2021
through 10/30/2021. The estimated impact days are likely to be
less than seven days within the construction window.
We will update customers as soon as the construction dates are
confirmed.
As a reminder, during this maintenance, Northwest will not be
able to schedule nominations that net greater than 882,000
Dth/d southbound at the Sumas Compressor Station. If
nominations exceed the operationally available capacity,
Northwest will declare a Deficiency Period based on the Sumas
Compressor design of 1,297,000 Dth/d southbound. Northwest will
continue to mitigate nominations to the best extent possible.
