Subject: Sumas Compressor Station Deficiency Period
Notice Text:
As indicated in All Shippers Notice #26-156, Northwest is
currently performing maintenance at the Sumas CS through
September 01, 2026.
Primary southbound nomination requests at the Sumas CS have
exceeded the available capacity of 968,000 Dth/d southbound (or
whatever Northwest cannot mitigate). Therefore, pursuant to
Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of Rate Schedule TF-1 in Northwest's
Tariff, Northwest hereby gives notice of a Deficiency Period
for Gas Day September 01, 2026. The Deficiency will be
calculated based on a design capacity of 1,409,000 Dth/d
southbound. The Deficiency Period will continue until the work
is completed. Northwest will post on its EBB if unable to
mitigate volumes each day until the work is completed.
As a reminder, the Sumas Meter Upgrade Part 2 referenced in All
Shippers Notice #26-162 will further limit the available
capacity to 821,000 Dth/d southbound beginning Gas Day
September 02, 2026, through Gas Day September 09, 2026.
