Subject: Rangely CS - Unplanned Maintenance
Notice Text:
Northwest is experiencing unplanned maintenance at the Rangely
compressor station, located at MP 278.2 in Rio Blanco County,
Colorado. Initial assessments indicate this outage is expected
last 14 days to complete the required repairs.
Northwest is doing everything possible to complete the work as
quickly and safely as possible to bring in this timeline and
will provide updates on our EBB as additional information
becomes available.
Effective Gas Day Thursday, August 20, 2026, the available
capacity at the Rangely compressor station will be limited to
290,000 Dth/d northbound.
If primary nomination requests through the Rangel CS exceeds
the available capacity of 290,000 Dth/d northbound (or whatever
NWP cannot mitigate during any day of the maintenance),
pursuant to Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of Rate Schedule TF-1 in
Northwest's Tariff, Northwest will give notice of a Declared
Deficiency Period based on a design capacity of 350,000 Dth/d
Northbound. The deficiency period will continue until the work
has been completed.
